Tips for South West Sydney parks
- Summer gets hot. South West Sydney averages 3–5°C hotter than the coast. Pack hats, sunscreen, and water, and aim for early morning or late afternoon visits in summer.
- Bicentennial Park is the clear standout for a longer day out — the cycling paths alone justify the trip.
- Campbelltown Arts Centre is free and worth combining with a park visit for any age that can sit still for 20 minutes.
