2026 NAIDOC Family Fun Day

About this event

National NAIDOC Week represents a celebration of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander histories, cultures and achievements and is an opportunity for all Australians to learn about and participate in celebrations of the oldest continuous living cultures on Earth. You can get to know and support your local Aboriginal communities through activities and events held around the country for National NAIDOC Week.

In partnership with the Fairfield Engaging Families of Aboriginal Heritage (FEFAH) working group, Fairfield City Council will celebrate National NAIDOC Week with the NAIDOC Family Fun Day, at the Showground, 443 Smithfield Rd Prairiewood from 11:00am - 3:00pm.

Free parking in designated areas.

Join us for a free all-inclusive event at Fairfield Showground with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander performers, stalls, children's activities, a free BBQ lunch and more!

This NAIDOC Week activity is delivered with funding support from the National Indigenous Australians Agency, Fairfield City Council and the FEFAH working group.
