Art after school | Create small batik works on fabric
About this event
Logan Art Gallery invites young people to experiment and build new skills in a creative space. This month you’ll explore the ancient craft of batik, a traditional fabric‑dyeing technique that uses hot wax to create striking patterns and colour effects.
You’ll draw your own designs in warm wax, apply dye to the fabric, and then reveal your finished artwork as the wax is removed — uncovering the unique patterns you created. It’s a relaxing, expressive process that blends art, craft, and a little bit of magic.
