Bilingual storytime at Darling Square Library, 3 to 5 years
About this event
Bilingual Storytime is a fun interactive session of storytelling for 3 to 5 year olds and their carers. Stories, songs and rhymes spoken in English and Mandarin support early literacy development, nurture Mandarin knowledge and provide a wonderful cultural exchange. Join our 30 minutes sessions, spending time together reading stories and singing songs. Bookings are not required, please allow time for arrival as session start promptly at 11:30am Weekly sessions available at other library branches: Green Square. Term 2: 29 April - 1 July 2026, no sessions during NSW school holidays or public holidays. Wednesday 27 May : Join us for National Simultaneous Story time 2026! We will come together to read Luna Roo the Kangaroo Baller by Adam Jackson and Adrian Lloyd, illustrated by Jake Minton. The session will be followed by a fun craft for all to enjoy. We aim to deliver inclusive and accessible events.
