Agribusiness Australia | Grant Thornton QLD Breakfast Event
About this event
Agribusiness Australia and Grant Thornton invite you to an exclusive evening exploring the findings of the 2026 Agribusiness, Food & Beverage DealTracker and their implications for the sector.
Against a backdrop of trade disruption, geopolitical uncertainty and rising domestic water and labour costs, we will examine the forces reshaping agribusiness deal activity in Australia and globally.
Discussion will focus on three key themes:
Sell side priorities: operational resilience, input costs and long term resource security. Investor appetite: where capital is flowing and why scale and resilience are defining the assets investors seek in the current environment. Water, food security, energy and ESG: how these pressures are increasingly central to how agribusiness assets are valued and transacted. This is an important conversation for those engaged in agribusiness investment and the future of the sector, and one that aligns closely with Agribusiness Australia's ongoing work across food security and ESG.
Tickets also include a light breakfast and the chance to connect and network with industry peers! It’s not to be missed.
Speakers include:
Cameron Bacon, Partner, Grant Thornton (moderator) Todd Winkley CFA, Investment Director, Roc Partners David Brett, Head of Corporate Banking, Queensland and Global Head of Agribusiness, NAB Ian Lowles, General Manager, Australia, USA, JPAC, CeresAI
