Implementing SSP with PLD in Years 3, 4, 5 & 6

Two-Day Seminar What to ExpectLearn to implement PLD’s evidence-based Structured Synthetic Phonics (SSP) in Years 3 - 6, gaining the knowledge, tools and processes to explicitly target the wide range of literacy ability in middle and upper primary classrooms.

This two-day seminar is delivered as two full-day sessions - one week apart - during the school term, allowing for a guided implementation of SSP using PLD with follow-up coaching support. The spacing creates a practical implementation window: between sessions participants have the opportunity to apply PLD assessments and/or routines in their own classroom, refine practice, analyse classroom data, and build a personalised, term-ready plan using a three-tiered teaching model.

On the second day, participants return for coaching-style feedback, support, and next-steps planning, ensuring the seminar translates into practical, in-class implementation.
