About this event

Head to St Leonards Park for free live music, kids activities and a picnic this autumn.

Experience an incredible mix of live music, creative workshops and community fun in a welcoming, family-friendly atmosphere.

Each event features high-quality performances from talented artists, alongside interactive children’s activities and sports demonstrations. Whether you’re a music lover, a family looking for a relaxed day out, or simply keen to soak up the vibrant atmosphere, Sunset Series offers something for everyone.

The afternoon will begin with multi-genre song woman Dyagula, before North Sydney Symphony Orchestra take to the stage. The return of the North Sydney Symphony Orchestra is a particular highlight, promising a dynamic performance that goes beyond classical music.

Bring a picnic rug, your family and friends, and make the most of a relaxed Sunday afternoon in the park, surrounded by great music and community spirit.

• 1.30pm: Opening Act - Dyagula

• 2.30pm: Main Act Set 1 - North Sydney Sympthony Orchestra

• 5pm: Event ends

Roving Entertainment and Workshop Activities

• Juggler + mini hot air balloon roving performer, hosted by Beeswax and Bottlecaps 2pm to 2.30pm 3pm to 3.30pm 4pm to 4.30pm

• Kids arts and crafts workshop “Create your own musical instrument”, hosted by Handy With Scissors 1pm to 5pm

• Mahjong Social Play, by North Sydney Community Centre 1pm to 4pm

• Free face painting, by Fantasy Art 1.30pm to 4.30pm
