Youth workshop: Invent your own fictional language

About this event

Klingon, Elvish, Na'vi, High Valyrian. Someone had to make those up. In this workshop, you will too.

You'll invent words, build grammar rules and create a language for your own fictional world, and learn some real linguistics along the way.

Led by Bridget Moloney, a University of Sydney linguistics graduate whose Honours thesis focused on fictional languages in film and TV.

For writers, gamers, storytellers and anyone who's ever been curious about how language works.
