Make Your Own One-of-A-Kind Sock Puppet Workshop ( Kids Over 8yrs Welcome)

About this event

Looking for a wildly fun and creative workshop in Sydney? Get ready to bring your imagination to life in this playful sock puppet-making experience for kids and grown-ups alike! Using a simple sock as your starting point, you’ll design and create your very own quirky, Muppet-inspired puppet character using colourful fabrics, fluffy textures, googly eyes, pom poms, feathers, and loads of fun craft materials. No experience is needed, and all materials are provided. Our friendly teacher will guide you step-step through the process, helping you transform an ordinary sock into a one-of-a-kind puppet bursting with personality. This workshop is completely sew-free, making it easy and accessible for all skill levels. We do use low-heat hot glue guns during the class, so care is required. Parents and grown-ups are more than welcome to attend and assist younger makers with their creations (though spaces are limited). By the end of the session, you’ll head home with a totally unique handmade sock puppet, plenty of laughs, and a whole lot of crafty memories! PLEASE NOTE: This class involves the regular use of HOT GLUE GUNS. Younger children must be supervised and assisted by an attending adult when using glue guns.
