Active Kids: Art In The Park: NAIDOC Sand Art / 5-12 Years Helene Park
About this event
Celebrate Indigenous culture this NAIDOC week by joining us for an Indigenous Sand Art workshop with beautiful designs by Indigenous Artist Kerri-Ann Tagget. We will be using sand in many colours to create a masterpiece.
NAIDOC Week is an opportunity for all Australians to learn about First Nations cultures and histories and participate in celebrations of the oldest, continuous living cultures on earth. You can support and get to know your local Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander communities through activities and events held across the country.
Accessibility: Helene Park is accessible via public transport, with disability parking spaces available and access to the event location via a smooth surfaced path. All are welcome.
