ADF EQUIP program for parental absence - ADF families

Summary Is your child or children missing their parent who is away for work? DMFS Tindal is running an ADF Equip Resilience program to assist children (5yrs to 12yrs) from ADF families to manage this change. In this 4 hour workshop, your child will take part in a range of activities designed to build up their strategies to support their social and emotional resilience relating to parental absence. Our workshop delivered by the Regional Education Liaison Officer and Defence Social Worker is an opportunity for children to get together with their peers, learn something new, have some fun and interact with others who are in similar circumstances. Please bring lunch and drink bottle. This will be a 4 hour workshop for ADF children aged between 5yrs to 12yrs. Please make sure to reserve your place by 28th June 2026. If you or someone in your family are feeling unwell with flu-like symptoms on the day of the event, please stay at home. A photographer will be in attendance at this event.
