Celebrate World Environment Day at IndigiScapesJoin us for a day of outdoor family fun as we celebrate World Environment Day at IndigiScapes with free activities, live performances, inspiring talks and hands‑on nature play.

From gardening and wildlife to creativity and sustainability, this is an event for all ages. Come for an hour or stay all day - there’s something happening around every corner!

What to expectRanger Stacey hosts an exciting program on the outdoor stage, welcoming a standout line‑up of special guests including Jerry Coleby‑Williams from ABC Gardening Australia, along with leading researchers, educators and performers.

The day will open with a Welcome to Country by Patrick Coolwell, followed by the official opening, including a smoking ceremony, dance and didgeridoo.

On the main stageGardening and sustainability with Jerry Coleby‑Williams Wildlife encounters and campfire damper demonstrations Climate and wildlife talks from expert researchers High‑energy performances, including circus and junkyard beats percussion

Explore the gardensEco markets and food vans Roving performers Hands‑on native bee and damper workshops and creative activities Bush bingo,clay craft, discover worms, weaving, storytelling and messy play for children IndigiScapes Native Community Nursery will be open from 9.00am for all your native plant needs and advice and visit the cafe, gift shop and discovery centre.
