Artistic tales: Storytelling through mixed media

To celebrate the Arts and Cultural Festival, Ku-ring-gai Art Centre and Ku-ring-gai Library proudly exhibit works by local artists Kay Pittelkow, Cilla Davis, Tina Psarianos, Karuna Maharaj, Nancy Lim and Danuta Mathieson.

These works act as visual narratives - stories told not in words, but through surface, texture and process in a celebration of storytelling using paint, clay and mixed media.

Together, the exhibition celebrates artistic excellence, collaboration and the creative connections fostered through the Ku-ring-gai Art Centre, highlighting the important role of women in shaping local cultural life through stories made visible and tangible.

Karuna Maharaj, Nancy Lim, Danuta Mathieson and Tina Psarianos will join us to speak about their creative practices and artistic journeys.
