STEMFest

About this event

Families, science enthusiasts, maths whizzes and curious minds of all sorts are invited to dive into a day of discovery, creativity, and hands-on fun at STEMFest, at Waverley Public School. Perfect for primary and preschool-aged children and their families, this free community event will be packed with interactive stalls, live demonstrations, (bite-sized) keynote presentations and engaging workshops. Families will enjoy the BBQ, plant stall, cake stall, showbags, colour-change lemonade stall, dedicated preschooler zone, and, to keep the parents going, an onsite coffee cart. Festival highlights: Headline performances and a stall from The Crazy Scientist, Sydney’s premier science educator Hands-on STEM activities and experiences for all ages with things that fizz, fly and light up Coding and robotics zones Interactive stalls where you can see inside an ambulance, f Minecraft with real life geology and more Cost: Entry, all demonstrations, keynote presentations, performance and interactive stalls are free.
