Bike Drop-Off & Check and Tune 2026

Council is partnering with Revolve Recycling to provide a Bike Drop-Off & Check and Tune Event!

Event Details

Date: Saturday, 20 June 2026

Location: Castle Hill Showground

Time: 9am – 1pm

This event is available to residents of The Hills Shire – proof of residence is required.

There event will consist of:

You can drop-off your old or unused bicycles, scooters and e-bikes for reuse and recycling.

As part of this initiative, Revolve Recycling will refurbish, repurpose, or recycle the bikes collected at the event. By donating, you’ll not only be reducing waste but also helping to create affordable and eco-friendly transportation options for others.

Donated bikes will also be benefiting disadvantaged kids through the Revolve Recycling Foundation, a charity that provides free bikes to those in need.

At the event, we’ll accept bikes in any condition, making it easier than ever to donate and make a difference. It’s an easy and meaningful way to support sustainability, help others, and clear out space in your garage!

You can also book your bicycle in for a free 15-minute check and tune service.

The service includes a quick check over by a bike mechanic of your bike’s tyres, gears and brakes. The mechanic will also let you know if more repairs are needed.

Bicycles beyond repair will be responsibly recycled, contributing to the circular economy and reducing landfill waste.
