Bidjiwong Community Nursery Volunteering
About this event
Do you love all things gardening and garden care? Our bushcare volunteers are looking for new members to come and join them in their volunteering efforts.
Bidjiwong Community Nursery volunteers propagate and grow plants for Council’s bushland reserves, special projects and resident giveaways.
All are welcome. No experience is necessary.
A significant upgrade to several of the Nursery buildings is nearing completion at Bidjiwong Community Nursery. During this time some areas of the nursery are inaccessible due to the construction. As such the weekly nursery schedule for seed propagation and maintenance of the nursery plant stock, are Thursdays and Fridays (9am-3pm) until further notice.
Register online and select a date and time at your convenience.
Please note: Prior to registering below, if you are new to volunteering projects at The Hills Shire Council please complete an online application form here.
