Catholic Schools NSW Education Law Symposium 2026

Catholic Schools NSW invites leaders from across Catholic education, including professionals involved in school operation and governance, to the 2026 Education Law Symposium on Monday, 6 July.

This professional development forum will cover topics related to the unique governance challenges Catholic schools face, including the latest policy and regulatory updates, and reflections on governance and Mission leadership.

The day will feature presentations by guest speakers and panels, including high-profile industry experts and experienced administrators who will provide insight and guidance for the future of our sector.

This year's symposium will include keynote addresses and panel sessions on:

Safeguarding Staff wellbeing, duty of care, managing risk Created and Loved Codes of conduct, hate speech regulations, fit and proper person requirements Technology and AI Not-for-profit requirements. Catholic Schools NSW is a NESA approved provider of governance training. The symposium will constitute 6 hours of NESA approved governance training for responsible persons.

Note: This event is for staff, leaders and professionals involved in Catholic education.

Tickets for the Symposium are $295, with payment required upon registration.
