Children in the Room: from Child Safe Standards to practice

About this event

Tuesday 30 June, 12:30-3:30pm Frontline workers often support parents and carers, without much focus on children in family or community settings. However, under the NSW Governmnent’s 10 Child Safe Standards, organisations must also actively and meaningfully engage with children, even when they’re not the primary client, to ensure they feel safe, heard, respected and empowered.

Join us for this practical session to support you build confidence to recognise and respond to children’s needs.
