Create something beautifully wall-worthy with your collection of your children's art pieces in this workshop for parents and guardians.
Bring along every sketch, doodle, school or kindy-made painting and take home a large collaged art-piece ready to display proudly in your home.
Artist Margie Joy will lead you in this creative workshop to create a meaningful artwork using paints, inks and other mark-making techniques and mediums.
More than just a collage, this piece will be thoughtfully made to preserve these precious memories. No artistic experience or skill required!
What to expect9.15am for a 9.30am start - come after school drop-off and make a cuppa to settle in. Bring a large assortment of your child's/children's 2D art pieces, yes all of them. All other art materials supplied. We will break for a quick lunch, bring your own lunch or snacks. Tea and coffee provided. Wear comfortable clothing suitable for painting.
About your facilitatorMargie Joy Goodluck is a passionate mixed media artist, known for her expressive, vibrant and joyful artworks. She loves creating large paintings using pigmented inks, acrylics, collage papers and paint markers. She enjoys encouraging young and old to be creative and teaching is one way to do that.
