Community Conversations: Family and Belonging in Chinese LGBTQIA+ Communities

About this event

Following on from Pride Month in June, join us at The Connection at Rhodes for a powerful discussion about family and belonging within Chinese LGBTQIA+ communities.

This discussion will be conducted by ANTRA and Associate Professor Quah Ee Ling, who will explore Jia 家: family, home and kinship in Chinese and Chinese Australian LGBTQIA+ lives.

This event is intended to be a respectful, reflective and community-centred space for LGBTQIA+ people, families, allies and community members interested in understanding Chinese queer experiences in Australia.

This is a bilingual event, hosted in both Mandarin and English.
