COMMUNITY-LED EVENT: Hunters Hill Quilt Show
About this event
Hunters Hill Quilters are holding their biennial Quilt Show at Hunters Hill Town Hall from Friday 14 August to Sunday 16 August, running from 10am to 4pm daily.
The Show includes an exhibition of about 60 quilts made by the group members, as well as a sale of handmade items including quilts and Waggas. There is also a Show cafe, serving Devonshire teas, sandwiches, homemade cakes and slices.
Local quilt shop, Material Obsession, will have a stall at the Show, selling fabric, kits and sewing supplies.
Two handmade quilts will be raffled, with tickets available to purchase on the day.
The Show raises funds for the group who make quilts for Little Wonders at RPA and for other charities. This year they will also make a donation from the Show's proceeds to Women's and Girls' Emergency Centre (WAGEC), an organisation supporting women and families suffering from domestic violence.
