CREATIVE LAB: Experimental Art and Design Term 3

CREATIVE LAB: Experimental Art and Design is a hands‑on after‑school program for ages 9–13 that brings together science, technology, engineering and maths through experimental art processes and techniques (STEAM).

Through creative making, participants will experiment with simple materials and reimagined finds, exploring movement, light and energy to create exciting, contemporary artworks.

Classes will include:

Glow and phosphorescence experiments layered with art, design and photography Designing drawing machines powered by motors, water and wind Experimenting with UV‑reactive ‘light drawing’ Making moving artworks inspired by flight and air Transforming sound into unexpected drawings Bio-inspired object design based on nature Participants will practice creative thinking and problem‑solving, while building confidence through making, testing, adapting and sharing their ideas in a fun and supportive studio environment.

Location: Yarrila Arts and Museum When: 8 Tuesdays during Term 3 from 28 July to 15 September Time: 4:00pm – 5:30pm Cost: $100 for the 8 week program Ages: 9 – 13 year olds

Creative Kids vouchers are accepted One valid Creative Kids voucher ($50) can be used towards the program fee, with the remaining $50 paid at booking.

If you have two valid Creative Kids vouchers, they can be used together to cover the full program cost.

Each voucher can only be redeemed once and must be redeemed in full.

During checkout, you’ll be prompted to enter your child’s details and Creative Kids voucher information so your booking can be processed.

Please note that your ticket confirmation will only occur after the voucher has been successfully claimed via Service NSW.
