Blacktown Historical Bus Tours

In celebration of Heritage Week, we invite you on the Blacktown Historical Bus Tour – a unique and immersive experience that will take you to some of the area’s most iconic historical landmarks.

The tour will visit several significant sites including:

St Bartholomew’s Church and cemetery 1841, sites of the Grantham Melrose House and Bungarribee properties 1824T, the first ever Aboriginal land grant site; as well as pass by the The Native Institution, the Cricketers Arms Hotel; Policeman’s Watch House; Blacktown Public School House; Aboriginal Silcrete Mine and more.

Led by knowledgeable and passionate guides, this tour is the perfect way to immerse yourself in Blacktown’s fascinating past and includes morning tea.

Lunch will be held at the historic and restored Alroy Tavern Plumpton (at own expense) with morning tea provided.

PLEASE NOTE: This tour is via coach, and whilst it is wheelchair accessible please be mindful that you will need to be able to climb in and out of the coach at each stop.
