Drawing and painting for beginners

This nine-week course introduces foundational drawing and painting skills in a supportive, hands-on studio setting. Students learn essential concepts such as line, shape, value, colour mixing and composition, while exploring a variety of materials and techniques. Weekly demonstrations and guided exercises help build confidence, leading to small personal projects as the term progresses. Designed for those new to art, returning after a long break or just want to develop their skills! The class offers a paced, encouraging environment where students can develop core skills and discover their own creative direction.

A standard adult enrolment for one full 9-week term is $420. For pensioners with a current pension card, the fee is discounted to $315.
