En plein air: Urban scenery painting workshop

Take your sketchbook outside and paint the world around you, streets, buildings, everyday scenes, the way artists have done for centuries.

Realist painter Alice Xu will walk you through observation and brushwork techniques that help you see and capture what’s in front of you. Expect a short demo, plenty of hands-on practice, and one-on-one time with Alice during the session.

Suitable for beginners and intermediate painters. We’ll be using acrylics so wear clothes you don’t mind getting paint on, and bring an apron.
