Using Recycled Materials - No Dig Garden
About this event
If you have bad soil or poor drainage you can construct your garden beds by building up rather than digging down! Learn how to build a 'No Dig' garden using some recycled materials such as compost, newspaper, cardboard, manure and straw. These recycled materials can form layers in new garden bed that will break down over time to produce rich organic soil. Come and see a hands-on demonstration of how to make a 'No Dig' garden bed and bring these skills back to your own backyard and community!
