Friends of Lane Cove National Park - National Tree Day
About this event
This will be the fourth National Tree Day event at Tunks Hill in Lane Cove National Park. Tunks Hill was degraded in the past by farming and now the Park is feeling the effects of its urban location. Volunteer on the day and your planting will help soften the interface between the Park and neighbouring developments and improve wildlife habitat. Let the gate attendant know you have registered as a volunteer and parking will be free. If you are a group of more than 10, please email folcnp@hotmail.com before registering. The Friends of Lane Cove National Park will be providing a sausage sizzle.
Tunks Hill Picnic Area, off Riverside Drive is accessed via the Lane Cove National Park entrance on Lane Cove Rd Macquarie Park.
