Henny Penny Hatching - Seaford Library
About this event
The Henny Penny Hatching program will be visiting Seaford Library Monday 7 July until Friday 17 July. It is designed to bring the experience of hatching chicks into the community.
It will provide hands on learning about the life cycle of chickens, it fosters a sense of responsibility and empathy towards animals, and is a collaborative learning experience for the whole family.
There will be the opportunity to check the hatcher for new baby chickens and to carefully hold the baby chickens under supervision.
Parent or caregiver supervision is required at this activity.
This is a drop-in program. You are welcome to join at any time during the advertised program time.
Please note the program will arrive some time on Monday 7th and leave some time on Friday 17th but we do not know the exact time. Phone ahead to avoid diappointment.
