Holiday Program: Little Scientists

About this event

In this Little Scientists session, children will explore two different water habitats and become nature detectives—searching for water bugs, testing water quality, and discovering how scientists uncover hidden wildlife.

Kids will collect and identify fascinating aquatic creatures, measure water health (like pH, temperature, and clarity), and be introduced to cutting-edge eDNA techniques that reveal animals such as fish, frogs, and platypus.

This fun, outdoor session builds real science skills while showing how we care for our precious waterways.
