Holiday Program: Pictures in Motion (AM session)

About this event

Have you ever wondered how images are brought to life through animation?

In this hands-on workshop, participants will discover how to use animation by exploring the basics of movement and storytelling. They can create their own flip book and experiment with simple, short, stop-motion techniques to bring images to life.

In order to create the stop-motion animation, participants will need to bring a phone or tablet that they can download a free stop-motion animation app onto.

PLEASE NOTE:All tickets are $6 per person. This workshop is best suited to children aged 7 - 13 years. Children must be accompanied by a fee-paying parent or guardian, who is expected to remain for the duration of the session. Bookings are required for all attendees. This is a supervised workshop, not a drop-off activity. Parents and guardians are encouraged to join in the activities and have fun creating alongside their children. Attendees are welcome to bring a water bottle. This activity will be held at the Museum at Inveresk, 2 Invermay Road, Inveresk, Launceston.
