About the Presenter
The National Fire Ant Eradication Program is a nationally cost-shared program, governed by a National Management Group (NMG), which represents the Australian Government, as well as state and territory governments. The program – Australia's largest biosecurity initiative – is working to eradicate fire ants from Australia by 2032. To succeed, we need to work together as a community. Just one untreated nest can jeopardise national eradication efforts. That’s why we’re on a mission to track EVERY fire ant nest. Success depends on everyone checking their properties and local area for fire ants and reporting what they find.
