About this event

Immerse yourself in the beauty and wonder of the Wildflower Garden. We will bush walk along the Muller Trail to Ku-ring-gai creek to learn how to dip net and identify aquatic critters out on the stream. There will be time to explore the amazing creek system playing along the stream with new friends. Participants will conduct a bird survey. In the afternoon students will create a mixed media food chain artwork and hunt for some insects and bugs to examine.

The Ku-ring-gai Wildflower Garden is one of Sydney's best kept secrets, set across 123 hectares of unique urban bushland and home to two endangered ecological communities as well as 18 threatened species of flora and fauna. The Wildflower Garden is open to the public all year round and has a range of hikes, step-free walking tracks, picnic areas and heritage venue hire as well as a diverse calendar of environmental education programs.
