NAIDOC Week: Djirrawarra - Bush Remedy Workshop

About this event

Join us for Djirrawarra - Bush Remedy Workshop on Friday 10 July from 1.30pm to 3.30pm at the Hunters Hill Town Hall, in celebration of NAIDOC Week.

Koori Kinnections facilitator, Emily Turner will run the workshop. Djirrawarra, which translates to “grind leaves” in the Dhurga language, is an interactive Aboriginal bush-remedy-making experience. Participants can discover the traditional uses of native bush medicine plants and create their own remedy to take home in a glass jar.

Registration for this workshop is required and can be made via the online form below.
