NAIDOC Week Workshops
About this event
We're celebrating NAIDOC Week with free interactive workshops which invites participants of all ages to connect with culture and country through storytelling, art, music, movement, and traditional practices. Gather together for stories, connection, and the sounds of the didgeridoo. Get creative with hands-on art inspired by Country, culture, and nature. Paint and personalise your own plant pot before learning how to propagate plants. Discover the cultural significance of local plants while learning the basics of traditional weaving. Experience the joy of movement through cultural dance. Explore the flavours and traditions of native bush foods. Learn about Indigenous foodways while making a refreshing bush-inspired cordial to enjoy and share.
