National Tree Day
About this event
Join National Tree Day – Australia’s largest community-led environmental restoration event.
Join North Sydney Bushcare on 26 July for National Tree Day – Australia’s largest community-led environmental restoration event.
North Sydney Council has been supporting National Tree Day for over 27 years, where an estimated 2,279 volunteers have planted over 30,772 endemic trees and understorey plants.
This year we will be revegetating bushland edges in Brightmore Reserve, Cremorne.
Following a 2023 ecological burn, new plantings will protect regenerating bushland and create habitat for native wildlife.
Volunteers can enjoy a free BBQ lunch after planting.
Bring gloves, sturdy shoes and a hat.
Register online or call 9936 8224.
