Nature Detectives - planting day

About this event

Join City of Swan, Shire of Mundaring and Millenium Kids for a fun and educational series of three hands-on workshops where children will explore a Shire of Mundaring reserve and discover the animals that call it home.

Event 1- Wednesday15th of April

Event 2 - Sunday 17th of May

FINAL EVENT - Sunday 14th June - Planting for Quenda

The final event in the series will bring together learning on quenda predators, shelter and food by participating in a community planting activity and creating quenda habitat.

Meet us at the playground area, Cnr Chidlow St and Austin Cl, at 9:30am on Sunday 14th June and we will head into the reserve for planting and playing. If you arrive late, please follow the noise and find us in the reserve.

The oval may be in use for football, suggested parking is street parking on Austin Cl.

This is an all-weather event, please dress appropriately for planting, muddy puddle play and exploring the reserve. No food or drinks will be provided, so please bring your own snacks. Restrooms will be available at Elsie Austin Pavillion (approx. 200m from the planting site).

All are welcome at this community planting supporting the Jane Brook Catchment Group.
