Needle Felted Tote Bag Workshop

About this event

Participants aged 7 to 17 will learn basic needle felting techniques while creating their own personalised tote bag. Using colourful wool, children and teens can design and needle felt their own unique artwork onto a reusable tote bag, choosing their favourite colours, themes, and creative ideas.

This beginner-friendly class is perfect for creative kids and teens who love arts and crafts and want to learn a new fibre art skill. All materials and equipment are provided, and everyone will take home their finished tote bag at the end of the session.

Attendance InformationPlease note this workshop is for participants uder 18 years.

This workshop is optional to drop and leave by signing a waiver and emergency contact form. Parents and guardians are also welcome to stay and observe or participate alongside their child.

We will be using real Australian and New Zealand sheep’s wool as our crafting medium.

What to Bring• A water bottle • Optional snacks

Safety InformationFinger guards are provided for all participants; however, needle felting uses specialised felting needles, which are sharp and require careful handling.

All abilities are welcome. Please assess individual support needs and ensure a parent, guardian, or support worker is available if additional assistance is required for participation.
