Open Nights - get a taste of singing Karl Jenkins Stella Natalis

About this event

Ever wondered what it's like to sing in a choir? Would you try it out without a scary audition? Join Macquarie Singers as they start rehearsals to sing the beautiful and inspiring Stella Natalis at their next concert, which will be on Saturday 14 November! No auditions are required to join - you just need to enjoy singing and be keen to learn!

Interested singers can attend our first two rehearsals (29th June and 6th July) for free before signing up. There will also be a free singing workshop on Sat 25 July.

Stella Natalis ('Star of Birth’) is Karl Jenkins’s epic work in twelve movements celebrating the universal Christmas messages of peace, compassion and a new beginning. Celebrated as a globally inspired crossover work, it draws on an expanded palette of multicultural inspiration, featuring a celebratory and uplifting blend of classical choruses, driving percussion, and Jenkins' signature sweeping melodies.
