Persian BAZI Playgroup - Monthly (July) - Khone Madar-bozorg

About this event

Persian BAZI Playgroup

Welcome to our Persian BAZI Playgroup!

Monthly sessions 2026

πŸ“ Venue: 7/255 Torrens Rd

πŸ“…β° When: Sunday 26th June - 12:00 to 6:00PM

πŸ‘§πŸ§’ All ages welcome! (Depending on the age group of childen registered for the day we will change the complexity of the games)

This session is a quarterly special and we plan for children to experience grandparents' house warmth. So we sing khone-ye Madar-bozorg-e and we will act as if we are there. - We will have lunch around a long long Sofreh, so wear something comfortable. - We will take a nap and fight over pillows. - We will try not to listen to the loud grandpa's radio. - We will be sneaky while playing cards or ye-ghol do-ghol.

Give us more ideas and what your grandparents' house meant to you growing up.

Join us for a joyful afternoon where children explore Persian culture through games, stories, and music.

BAZI Playgroup offers a nurturing space for Persian-speaking families(Iranian, Afghan, Tajik,…) to gather, celebrate culture, and strengthen language through engaging, play-based activities for little ones and their grown-ups.

We aim to build connections in a warm, playful environment and create a strong tribe and village to grow old together.

And that's why;

We believe in becoming a child alongside our children, learning, laughing, and playing together.

We’ll provide tea, cups and plates.

Families, please bring a plate of your favourite dish (Savoury/Sweet) to share. Let’s create the most delicious table ever!

Bookings are essential.

Limited capacity.

πŸšŒπŸŒ³πŸŽ’Some special excursion activities are being planned and will be announced.
