PHIVE Presents: Soft Forest at Midwinter Festival

PHIVE Presents Soft Forest, a magical immersive experience for children and families at Parramatta Town Hall this July school holidays, presented as part of the Midwinter Festival.

Step into a dreamlike underground landscape and meet Fauna, Erth’s giant illuminated inflatable mycelial creature. Curious, gentle and full of wonder, Fauna invites young explorers into a space where light shimmers, stories unfold and nature reveals its hidden secrets.

Through playful interaction, movement and immersive storytelling, children and families can explore Fauna’s world up close, discovering the hidden connections beneath the forest floor. Then, the magic continues as young visitors step into a hands-on puppet-making workshop, where they can create their very own Fauna to take home.

Blending puppetry, light, sound and sensory play, Soft Forest is an enchanting journey of discovery, creativity and imagination — a place to slow down, get curious and make something magical.
