Plastic-free periods: Break the disposable cycle – Webinar
About this event
Disposable period products have turned menstruation into a throwaway problem – but periods don’t have to come wrapped in plastic. As part of Plastic Free July 2026, this lively and practical webinar explores how switching to reusable, plastic-free options can benefit both people and the planet.
Join Lucy Peach as she unpacks the environmental impact of modern period products and introduces a growing range of alternatives, from menstrual cups to period underwear. Blending evidence-based insights with humour and lived experience, Lucy shares how these options can reduce waste while helping people reconnect with their menstrual cycle.
You’ll learn how plastic-free period products work, how to choose what suits your body and lifestyle, and why reclaiming period pride can be a powerful antidote to our throwaway culture.
Curious, sceptical or ready to make the switch? Come along and discover practical ways to break the disposable cycle. Whether you have a period or just know someone who does, all are welcome.
