Platypus Awareness Day

About this event

Join Council and Bushcare volunteers in restoring the Castle Hill Creek catchment by removing invasive weeds and planting native species that support platypus habitat. Hear from the Cattai Hills Environment Network team about platypus in The Hills and discover why clean, healthy waterways are essential for their survival.

After the talk, you can choose to get hands-on with weeding in the catchment area or explore the Eco-Detective Trail-an interactive experience designed to help the community connect with and learn about the natural environment through engaging activities along the trail.

Enjoy a FREE barbecue after all the hard work!
