Quiet Storytime

Please book places for all people attending the event, including adults and babes in arms. This helps us determine number limits in this small venue.

We know life gets in the way of well made plans! If you sudddenly find you are not able to attend, please either cancel your booking in Eventbrite or SMS/ call mobile #: 0457 131 879.

The sessions will provide a calm, supportive environment where children and their caregivers can engage with the library at a gentler pace.

Each session will include carefully selected stories, simple rhymes, and a gentle craft activity. Families will also be given ample time to browse the library shelves peacefully and to familiarise themselves with the Library in a relaxed way with a familiar librarian on hand to assist families and carers.

Sessions will be held at Lawson Library on the third Tuesday of each month at 10.00am, while the building is closed to the general public. This ensures a quieter, less stimulating setting that supports children with sensory sensitivities or additional needs.
