Reminiscing Group

This is a dementia inclusive group* that welcomes people with dementia but also includes their friends, family, carers and other people in the community who would like to enjoy the activities on offer.

During each session (4th Monday of each month from 10am to 12pm), the discussion and activities focus on a topic that will promote reminiscing. Associated activities include games, music, puzzles, craft and shared reading. Light refreshments are provided. Activities are suitable for those with early and middle stage dementia.

Carers are expected to stay and join the fun. They can also obtain information about, and practical tips on, dealing with dementia.

*Pre-registration is preferred for catering and consideration of special needs.
