Learn how to use simple coding to display words and images, make sounds, and create fun games and animations, all with a tiny computer that can fit in your hand.
These tiny hand-held computers are packed with features, including LED lights that can display pictures, symbols, scrolling messages and sounds.
In groups of twos or threes, future programmers will:
Learn the basics of coding using easy drag-and-drop block coding Explore how to control the micro:bit’s LED display and sounds Use sensors to create simple interactive projects Apply their new skills through fun challenges and games Build confidence in technology, creativity, and problem-solving No coding experience is needed — our sessions are designed to be beginner-friendly and engaging for young learners. For those wanting to explore further, there are also more advanced coding options available.
