Safe Space (7-11) | After School Program | Midland

About this event

Safe Space | After School Program Safe Space is a welcoming after school program designed especially for young people aged 7–11 who are supporting or caring for someone with a mental health challenge.

This is a calm, supportive environment where young people can take a break from their day, connect with others who understand their experiences, and simply be themselves.

During each session, participants are invited to check in with one another, share (if they’d like), and enjoy a range of relaxing activities such as colouring, drawing, and playing with fidgets. The focus is on unwinding, expressing feelings safely, and decompressing in a gentle, pressure-free space.

Safe Space is about building connection, comfort, and emotional wellbeing—helping young people feel seen, supported, and less alone.
