School Holiday Market Trail - Winter 2026

Designed for curious young food lovers, our much-loved Market Trail invites budding gourmands to explore Adelaide Central Market through its freshest local and seasonal produce. Children will receive a market bag and trail map before setting off on a self-guided adventure to 10 x pit stops across the Market.

At each stop, your little foodies will discover and sample something delicious - from artisan cheese and tasty flavoured milk to seasonal fruit and sweet treats - showcasing the variety and flavour of what’s in season.

Bookings are recommended as sessions often sell out. When available, same-day bookings can be made at The Market Stall (next to Haigh’s at the Gouger Street entrance).

The School Holiday Market Trail is self-guided and can be completed at any time within your selected booking window (9am–12pm or 2pm–4pm).

Please note:

This event is suitable for children aged 4 to13 years.

Some samples may contain nuts; parents and carers are responsible for checking all items offered by Market traders.

The trail is not a suitable for organised groups of more than 10 x children or Vacation Care groups.
