Full Day School Holiday Program

๐Ÿ“… 13th July | ๐Ÿ•’ 9am-3pm | ๐Ÿ’ฐ $110 | Ages 6+

Step away from screens and into the outdoors for a full day of hands-on survival skills, bushcraft, teamwork and adventure ๐ŸŒฟ

Children will spend the day learning practical outdoor skills used by explorers, pioneers and survivalists while building confidence, resilience and independence in a safe and supportive environment.

During this exciting full-day program, children will:

๐Ÿ”ฅ Learn bow drill and flint & steel fire lighting techniques

โ›บ Build a bush shelter using natural materials found around the farm

๐Ÿ’ง Learn how to, filter and sterilise water

๐ŸŒฟ Forage for useful plants and natural materials while learning how people have traditionally used them

๐Ÿงญ Develop navigation, observation and outdoor problem-solving skills

๐Ÿƒ Learn basic bushcraft techniques and wilderness awareness

๐Ÿฅ” Harvest seasonal produce from the farm and prepare food for cooking

๐Ÿ”ฅ Cook food over the campfire using ingredients harvested from the garden

๐Ÿ Visit and spend time with our friendly farm animals including goats, chickens, ducks and quails.

๐ŸŒณ Enjoy a full day of outdoor adventure, nature connection and hands-on learning

๐Ÿ”ฅ Finish the day around the campfire with hot chocolate and toasted marshmallows

This immersive full-day experience gives children the opportunity to learn practical life skills that build confidence, independence and resilience while having fun outdoors with new friends.

In a world where many children spend less time outdoors than ever before, Bushcraft & Survival Skills Day encourages children to connect with nature, solve problems, work as a team and discover what they are capable of achieving. Children leave feeling empowered, capable and proud of the skills they have learned.

This is a full-day program running during regular school hours, making it a great option for working families looking for an engaging and educational school holiday activity. Children are welcome to attend as a drop-off program, however parents and caregivers who would prefer to stay for the duration are also welcome.
