School Holiday Program: Learn to Crochet (12-17 years)

About this event

Fun fact: machines can sew, knit, and embroider, but they can’t crochet. Embrace the final frontier of fibre arts by learning to crochet at the library these holidays!

This workshop will teach you the basics of crochet, from creating a chain that looks like actual stitches instead of a knotted mess, to combining different stitches to create patterns and shapes.

You’ll even get to keep your crochet hook and yarn so that you can finish your project at home.

Cost: $8.50 to cover the cost of materials

Age: 12-17

Experience: No experience necessary

Equipment: All materials provided.
