School Holiday Program: Urban Circus Workshop

Have you ever wanted to join a circus, just for a day? Come along to the Urban Circus Workshop to learn all the skills it takes to perform under the big top!

Join us for a high-energy session filled with fun and laughter as you try classic circus skills such as whirling hula hoops, spinning plates, juggling, and twirling colourful poi—just like a real big‑top performer. It’s a playful, hands‑on circus adventure packed with energy, confidence‑building, and show‑stopping fun!

About the Facilitator:

School Music Incursions create workshops that are specially designed for the different stages of children’s education & learning environments.

Their artists are experienced performers with a passion for developing children’s creativity.

Cost: $8.50

Age: 8-12 years

Skill level: No experience necessary

Equipment: All equipment will be provided. Please ensure you wear comfortable clothing that is suitable for physical activity.

Terms and Conditions:

No refunds for cancellations or missed bookings. Program swapping is not permitted. For participants under the age of 16, parent and/or guardian contact details must be provided at the time of booking. If you arrive more than 10 minutes after the advertised start time and there are people in the standby queue, your ticket may be allocated to the standby queue. This workshop will not be recorded and cannot be accessed after the scheduled time. If you are unable to attend, please cancel your registration at least 3 hours prior to the event. As Library Programs have limited spaces and repeated failure to notify staff of cancellations, bookings may be refused in the future. The library does not endorse or promote any products which may be used in the workshop.
